Level Intensity
The levels get progressively more difficult in "Shipwreckers," as is the case with most computer and video games. This is done to familiarize players with the game and get them used to the types of settings, challenges and controls that they must use. At the end of each level is a boss that the players must challenge and defeat to move up to the next level.
Level Settings
Each level is set in a new location. For instance, Level 1 is set in the Caribbean while Level 2 is set in the Aztec territory. Level 5 takes place in the Middle East. When you begin each new level, you're given a map that shows you the layout of the sea. The layout almost acts as a maze that you must weave the ship in and out of to battle certain opponents and score more points.
Level Passwords
If you wish to skip levels without completing them through game play, there's a way to jump ahead by inputting a series of password codes. The words "fish," "anchor," "skull" and "ship" are used interchangeably to create particular password codes for each level. No two levels have the same password codes. As you unlock levels, you can advance in the game and get to the last boss faster.
Game Shark Codes
For each level that you start in, you can put in game shark codes, which are special codes that give your character in the game extra bonus items, such as unlimited ammo, unlimited ships and unlimited health. These types of items can help you get through the level without dying. Each level has its own game shark codes. To activate the codes, you must have the game shark download--a program for online gaming cheats--installed on your PC.
