How to Use Loot Manager Remix

Master Loot Manager Remix is the follow-up application to Master Loot Manager -- an add-on to the World of Warcraft online video game -- that allows players to divide the spoils of victory. The application is designed for Master Looter parties, in which the session leader collects and shares the loot fairly. Using the Master Loot Manager Remix is straightforward. Many buttons like "Countdown," "Select Item" and "Award Loot" are self-explanatory, though buttons like "M," "O" and "R" are more cryptic.

Instructions

  Click the "World of Warcraft" icon on your desktop to launch the application and then select your character. Click "Addons" in the lower left-hand corner. Verify "Master Loot Manager Remix" is checked. Click the check box next to "Load out of date AddOns."

  Click "Enter World" to start the game. Complete a raid and then collect loot for your party. Master Loot Manager Remix activates when loot is acquired.

  Click "Select Item" to pick a looted item. Use the "Arrow" keys to scroll through the items in your inventory.

  Click "R" to place a random roll, allowing the highest number to select the winner from eligible party members of a looted item.

  Click "M" to manually pick a winner of an item. For example, this is useful when you witnessed a kill and want to select a loot winner rather than randomize her chances of an award.

  Click "O" to "offer" or leave "open" the selected item for other members in your party. Ideally, players will pick up the item as needed.
