How to Get Debug Mode in Harry Potter to Work

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a game for the PC developed by KnowWonder/Electronic Arts. Like the movie of the same title, the game features Harry and friends in their sophomore year at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where Harry must confront the power hidden within the Chamber of Secrets. Accessing the debug mode of this game requires a basic knowledge of how to locate, rename and edit a text file.
