God Mode Cheat for Oblivion

You have many challenges throughout "Oblivion" as you battle ferocious creatures, go dungeon-diving and, when you can find the time, save the world. On the PC you have access to "god mode" via the in-game console, which turns you into an unstoppable force. Although your character will still react vocally to pain, your health won't actually lower, and you can go anywhere you want and do whatever you want without fear.

The Oblivion Console
- The "console" in Oblivion is a built-in tool that allows you to type in commands for the game. If you know what you're doing, you can change all kinds of settings, give yourself extra loot, alter any of your own characteristics and do nearly anything else you can think of. Developers used the console for testing and debugging; but since it's still in the game, you can use it for cheating if you want.
Using the Console
- To open the console, you just need to press the tilde key, which has the ` and ~ characters on it; normally this key is next to the number 1 above the letters of your keyboard. When you press the key, your game will stop and the console will open; now you're free to type in whatever commands you want. The commands are not case-sensitive, but otherwise they do have to be typed perfectly. If you make any mistakes, the game won't understand the command and nothing will happen. When you're done with the console, press the tilde key again to close it.
God Mode
- Open the console and type "tgm" without quotation marks. When you press enter, the game will display "God mode enabled." Now just press the tilde key again to close the console and enjoy your new invincibility. In god mode, enemy blows land with no effect, you can spend as much time as you want underwater and falls no longer hurt at all.
Other Cheats
- Never type quotation marks when you enter cheats. If you type "advlevel", you'll automatically gain a level. If you have a current quest, you can type "movetoqt" to fast-travel exactly to your quest's objective. If you're having a tough time with a certain enemy, open the console and then click on that enemy; type "kill" and the person you're fighting will collapse at your feet in death.
