How to Get Darkrai on Pokemon Indigo

Capture six Pokemon and begin raising their levels and your rank as a trainer by dueling other trainers or by battling the game's four gym leaders. Every fight you win will increase the experience points of the Pokemon used in the duel and your rank as a trainer. Continue dueling until you reach 999,999 experience points and have six Pokemon levels 100 or higher.

Go to the trade Pokemon screen. Reaching both the high experience point total and required six Pokemon over level 100 will unlock the option to trade with the computer for a Darkrai Pokemon. Trade one of your level 100 Pokemon for a Darkrai.

Purchase a "Master Ball" from any of the game's shops. "Master balls" are expensive, so duel for money or sell off unneeded Pokemon to raise the necessary money required to buy one. Exit out of the game and go to the main menu after purchasing the ball.

Open the "Rooms" tab in the game's main menu. Look at "Details" section under each room's description to determine what legendary Pokemon each room contains. Locate a room that contains a Darkrai and enter that room to begin searching for the creature.

Use the "Master Ball" to capture the Darkrai. Unlike a normal "Pokeball," the "Master Ball" automatically captures any legendary Pokemon the ball is used on. Select the Darkrai from your available Pokemon and begin using it in duels.
