Friends
Friends are crucial in playing "101 Treasures." The primary method for collecting items is through receiving gifts from other Facebook friends who play the game. If none of your Facebook friends play the game, you cannot collect items without purchasing them. In order to increase the amount of friends you have playing "101 Treasures," you can gift items to your nonplaying friends to try and tempt them to install and play the application.
Newbie Jump Start
Click the "Newbie Jump Start" link to allow friends to gift you extra random items. When you click this link, you can send a link to friends asking for help or publish the link directly to your Facebook wall. When your friends click on the link, they send you additional items to help you jump-start your collection.
Trade
There are three types of items that are available to collect: common, uncommon and rare. These categories differ in how often particular items appear, with rare ones being the least available. Over time, you may collect more than one particular item needed to complete your set. From the "Friends" tab within the application, you can view which items your friends have and also what they need. Compare your friends' progress with your own, and you may see they need an item of which you have extra and vice versa. Then, you may request a trade that is mutually beneficial.
Marketplace
New players begin with 10 tokens for buying items within the game. Because tokens are difficult to come by within the game, reserve these for purchasing rare items in a collection. Use the "marketplace" to buy and sell items. When you have duplicate items that are not useful in trade, place them on the marketplace to gain a global audience of "101 Treasures" users. By selling these items, you receive tokens that you can use to purchase the items you require to complete your collection.
