Instructions
Download and install WillowTree and Modio (see Resources), both of which are free programs needed to modify "Borderlands."
Double-click Modio to open it. Using the provided directory, click the folder in which your "Borderlands" saved game files are stored. Right-click the saved game file you want to modify. Click "Extract." Click "Desktop" as the extraction destination and click "OK." Close Modio.
Double-click WillowTree to open it. Click "File." Click "Open." Click the saved game file you extracted to your desktop. Click "OK" to open the file.
Click "New." Click the new object that appears on the left side of the window. Click "Shield" on the right side of the screen.
Edit the shield specifications so it reads as follows:

Click "Save Changes." Close WillowTree.
Double-click Modio to open it once more. Click-and-drag the modified "Borderlands" game file and drop it into Modio. The next time you play "Borderlands," you will have a shield that has 200 million hit-points.
