How to Use the Circle on Minecraft

Building a circle in a virtual world made of cubes is inherently a challenge, but it's a challenge that players can overcome in "Minecraft," a server-based game that allows users to build freely with thousands of cubic blocks. At first glance, players of "Minecraft" may doubt that they can make circles in the game's gridded-out environment. With a few steps of planning, however, players can construct them in a matter of minutes.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose a center point for your circle, and lay one block in its place.

    • 2

Determine the circle's diameter. For an even circle, it is best to choose an odd-numbered diameter.

    • 3

Lay four radial blocks around the circle's center point so that they form an even cross. The length of the radial points will be one half of the circle's diameter.

    • 4

Connect the radius points with blocks to make a circle. The diameter of the circle will dictate how the connectors are laid out. See the Resources for a diagram guide for arranging blocks according to the circle's diameter.
