How to Make a Diablo 2 Mod

In "Diablo II" for the PC, you must play through four acts that take place in several towns in varying environments, ridding the areas of monsters before ultimately facing off against the ultimate evil, Diablo. You can use some mods to add interesting effects to this 2000 title, including the ability to level up quickly if you can brave the punishing difficulty your cheat will activate.

Instructions

  Press the "Enter" key to access the cheat console.

  Type in "/players x" whereas "x" is a number between one and eight. If you type in "8," for example, the difficulty will increase as if you were playing the game with seven other players. Increased difficulty rewards you with more experience, items and gold when you defeat monsters.

  Press "Enter" again to activate the cheat.
- 4
  Create an odd sound effect by opening the cheat console and using the code "soundchaosdebug." This will make all the sounds in the game play at once and repeatedly. Turn this mod off by entering it a second time.
