Cheats for Rakion

"Rakion," an Internet community PC game set in a mythical world where players fight against monsters and evil warlords with both swordsmanship and magic, offers intense battle sequences, player-versus-player options and realistic graphics. The game, however, has attracted a significant amount of attention for being a completely free download, setting itself apart from other similar but expensive games. As with any game, the gradual learning process involved in mastering the game is perhaps the most rewarding part of playing, yet for players looking to get started a little faster, several cheats are coded into the game.

Get Three Dragons
- Although it remains unclear whether it is an intentionally coded cheat or a glitch, there is a very easy way to get three extra dragons for free in Rakion. Simply enter the Inventory/Shop screen, enter the Creatures menu and right-click on the dragon three times. Three dragons will appear in your inventory, a very valuable asset for facing enemies and other players in Rakion. The dragons will function exactly like dragons purchased or obtained through traditional gameplay, with the same attack value and number of hit points.
Avoid Falling Damage
- With so many dangers lurking in the world of "Rakion," taking damage from simply falling seems like a waste. Fortunately, a simple cheat can avoid falling damage: pressing the space bar rapidly as you fall. While it may not work for short falls -- unless you can press the space bar very, very quickly -- the damage from such falls is minimal and it will avoid the more considerable damage caused by longer falls. Especially for new players who have yet to master the interface and learn how to avoid falling, this can be a very useful cheat.
Gameplay Cheat Codes
- As with many community games, the communication interface that allows you to type messages to other players can also be used to enter cheat codes. Codes entered into the interface will produce the desired effect, but remember that information in the interface is saved and reviewed by moderators who sometimes ban players who make excessive and unfair use of cheats. Entering the word "aptitudini" during the starting game, for instance, will increase your experience points, while entering "rungo" will increase attack speed and "godmode" or "i shall never die" will make you immortal. That last one, however, is sure to get you in trouble with moderators if you use it to take on other players rather than to learn more about the game as a newcomer.
Resource Cheat Codes
- As could be expected from a game that depends on collecting resources to gain strength, many of the cheats in "Rakion" enable you to increase your supply of gold, weapons and creatures. The code "/go 619" will give you three soul cannons, "/go 258" gives you full gold and cash, and "make me rich" will fill your supply of gold. By pressing the "Alt" key and the "1" key during game play, you enable another menu of cheats, including "Alt" and the number "3," which increases the power of your weapon, and alt and the number "5," which gives you an additional dragon.
