How to Use the Jamella Editor

Download "Jamella's Hero Editor" from a website such as Max Freak.com or 4Cheaters.com. Save it to your Desktop to make it easier to find.

Open the folder and run the installation program. Follow the on-screen instructions and install it to the default folder to make sure it runs properly.

Click on the program file from the "Start" menu or the Desktop shortcut. Click on the "File" menu at the top and select "Open." Use the navigation menu that opens to find your "Diablo II" save files in the "Game" folder on your computer. Select the file you want to edit and click "OK."

Select the editing options at the top of the editor to change your game folder. Options include "Character Stats," "Spells," "Skills," "Quest Information" and many others. Click on the editing option to open up the editing menu.

Change the values of each variable in the option to edit. For example, changing the color of your hero requires using your mouse to click on the different displayed colors from the "Character" editing menu.

Use the sliding bars and numerical text box input windows for other options, such as the amount of gold enemies drop, where you respawn when you die, and the damage you deal to enemies with each attack.

Edit the save file however you see fit and close all your option menus. Click "Save and Exit" after you are finished to save your work and close the program.

Start "Diablo 2" and open your save file to play your edited game file.
