How to Get Rid of the Fire in Virtual Families

Fixing broken and malfunctioning household appliances is one of the main challenges in "Virtual Families." You will have to use the game's hint system and your own wit to figure out how to fix leaky sinks and put out fires. If your oven or dryer is on fire, it is important to tackle this problem as quickly as possible. The longer you let the fire burn, the sadder your family members become.

     Unlock the shed by finding the doorknob and the key. Drop a family member in the sandbox to locate the shed's missing doorknob.

     Place a family member on the doormat. He will look under the mat, find the key and unlock the shed.

     Drop a family member on the fire extinguisher in the shed. He will carry the extinguisher to the house and put out the fire.
