How to Get Milk in Minecraft

The environments in "Minecraft" are highly interactive. Players can cut down trees, dig through mountains and milk wandering cattle. If they want to capture the cow, they can surround it with wooden logs, creating a fence. The milk they harvest can then be used to bake cakes, which restore lost hit points. The only equipment needed to milk the cow is a bucket, which can be crafted from three iron bars. After using the milk to bake a cake, they can reuse the bucket to harvest more.

Instructions

    • 1

Equip a pickaxe and swing at the ground to start mining. Mine at least eight pieces of cobblestone, one piece of coal and three pieces of iron ore. These are located progressively deeper in the Earth.

    • 2

Return to the surface and right-click on your workbench. This summons a three by three grid. Fill all but the middle square with cobblestone to create a furnace.

    • 3

Drop the furnace on the ground and then put a piece of coal in the middle. Light it on fire. Right-click on the furnace and use your three lumps of iron ore. This will produce three iron bars.

    • 4

Use the workbench again. Place an iron bar to the left of the middle square, to the right of the middle square and immediately beneath the middle square. This creates a bucket.

    • 5

Equip the bucket and then find a cow. They roam the surface of the game world. Right-click on its udder to get milk.
