Cheats for Trevor Chan's Capitalism 2

"Capitalism II," developed by Enlight and published by Ubisoft, places the player as a new corporate CEO. The game was released for PC in 2001. This simulation game utilizes all facets of the business world, including marketing, retail, manufacturing, research and real estate. IGN called it "the most comprehensive business simulation available" and it has since been used in classrooms at Duke, Stanford and the University of North Carolina, among others.

Free Money
- Enable cheat mode by holding the shift key and then typing 6, 7, 8, 9. If done correctly, a message appears saying "cheat mode enabled." Press Alt-C to gain 10,000,000 in credit.
Cash Before Research
- Don't start research before accumulating cash. Research increases costs, which could hurt business if performed too early. Instead, wait until the research costs are sustainable.
Try to Monopolize Capital Goods
- Gain control of resources such as oil, timber and mining by placing low maintenance buildings over the top of their icons. This will keep the AI from gaining access to the same resources, giving you a monopoly to exploit. That being said, this is an expensive strategy and will not be successful unless you can afford to corner the entire market.
More Campaigns
- Complete the first five campaigns to unlock extra campaigns. The more campaigns you complete, the more you can unlock.
