Secret Cow Level
Beat the game on a difficulty and then enter it again on the same difficulty. Head for the Rogue Encampment. Transmute a Tome of Town Portal and Wirt's Leg in the Horadric Cube to make a portal appear. This path leads to the Cow Level, which contains herds of cows and the Cow King. If you do not kill the Cow King you can keep returning to this location to obtain gold and useful items.
Easy Kills in Kurast
You can use this cheat only if your character class is the Necromancer. Head to the bridge that leads to Kurast in the game's third act. You will encounter the Dark Wanderer, a robed figure who will summon beasts to attack you. Run to the bridge to attract these monsters there. Summon your own monsters and they will fight your foes. The beasts summoned by the Dark Wanderer will not attack your group because as long as you are at the bridge you are under the protection of Kurast.
Change Player Stats
You can modify both the player count and the game difficulty by using a secret code. The toughness of the monsters and the experience level and gold they provide you goes up and down based on the count of players in the game. Press "enter" to open a chat box, and then change the number by entering the code "/players X" where "X" is the number of players. You can set this from one to eight.
