Things You'll Need
Instructions
Format the picture you wish to use as a "Counter-Strike" spray using photo editing software, such as Microsoft Paint. "Counter-Strike" supports an image made up of 10,800 total pixels in any resolution that does not exceed this total amount of pixels.
Convert the resized image to a decal using your decal converter software. Open the decal converter software, then load the image you resized in Step 1. The exact steps to make a decal can differ depending on the decal converter software you are using, but it typically involves either a button or a menu item called "Create Decal." Make note of where you save this decal file.
Move the file to the "Counter-Strike" spray directory using Windows Explorer. To do this, open Windows Explorer and navigate to the location to which you saved the file in Step 2. Right click on the file and select "cut." Next, navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\<your email>\counter-strike\cstrike, right-click on an empty area of the folder, and select "Paste."
Rename the file to "tempdecal." This will automatically set the file as your default spray in "Counter-Strike."
Run the "Counter-Strike" game software and test your spray. Join a game and press whichever key you have assigned as the spray button. If the spray does not appear, restart from Step 1 or consult one of the references for a more detailed explanation of the procedure.
