How to Fix a Temporary Ban on Diablo 2

If you are attempting to play Diablo 2 but are receiving the message, ̶0;Your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm. Please try to log in at another time,̶1; your connection has been flagged as potentially malicious. This can be caused by connection issues, creating or leaving multiple games in short periods of time or even the use of game add-ons. Fixing this ban is fairly straightforward.

      Close any and all Blizzard Entertainment games. This includes all WarCraft, StarCraft and Diablo games.

      Wait 15 to 20 minutes, and then attempt to reconnect to Battle.net through Diablo 2. If your account is still suspended, you may need to wait until the suspension expires.

      Allow 72 hours to pass before contacting Blizzard. Depending on the nature of your suspension, your account could be suspended for up to three days. If you are unable to access Diablo 2 after this time frame has passed, proceed to the next step.

      Contact Blizzard directly via the link provided in ̶0;Resources.̶1; Select ̶0;Diablo 2,̶1; and set ̶0;Select a category̶1; to ̶0;Account Issues.̶1; Choose your realm and fill in the required information to let Blizzard know about your problem. Someone should contact you with a resolution or explanation in a few days.
