How to Have Twins in The Sims 2 Game

The Sims 2 is a simulation game released by Entertainment Arts in 2004. In The Sims 2, your Sims can become pregnant and have children of their own. It is possible also for your Sims to have twins in the game. According to the FAQ at GameFAQs, twins are a random occurrence, and, "There is no diet that will always make it happen. It is a random chance that it will." However, if you have the Open for Business expansion, it is possible to force your Sims to have twins via a cheat code.

Instructions

  Install the Open for Business expansion in addition to the standard The Sims 2 game files. The expansion is necessary for the cheat code to be effective.

  Cause one of your Sims to become pregnant. Have two Sims who are in love lay down on the same bed. Choose the "Try for Baby" option. Your Sims can get pregnant only if you choose this option, and it may take a few tries for it to work.

  Open the cheat menu by holding down the Shift, Ctrl, and C keys at the same time. This process will open the window where you will type in the cheat code.

  Type "forcetwins" (without the quotation marks) into the cheat menu. This code will force the pregnant Sim&'s pregnancy to be a twin birth.
