Instructions
Open the GECK.
Expand the ̶0;File̶1; menu and select ̶0;Data.̶1;
Double-click on ̶0;Fallout3.esm̶1; in the ̶0;TES Files̶1; box and press the ̶0;OK̶1; button.
Expand the ̶0;Items̶1; menu in the ̶0;Object Window̶1; and select ̶0;Armor.̶1;
Look for the armor you want to modify on the right side of the ̶0;Objects Window̶1; or use the ̶0;Filter̶1; to narrow the selection. Typing ̶0;power̶1; in the filter box, for instance, narrows the selection of armors to only those armors that include the word ̶0;power,̶1; such as the Brotherhood and Outcast power armors.
Double-click on the armor you want to modify and alter the properties you want to change.
You can increase the ̶0;AR̶1; of an item in order to improve the resistance to damage that the armor gives you.
You can decrease the ̶0;Weight̶1; of an armor to give yourself more room in your inventory to carry other items.
You can increase the ̶0;Health̶1; of an armor to make it more durable, meaning it will require fewer repairs.
You can decrease the ̶0;Value̶1; of an armor to lower the cost of its repairs. Unfortunately, when you lower the value you will not be able to sell that armor for as many caps as normal.
You can experiment with the ̶0;Object Effect̶1; property to give your armor different effects. The ̶0;EnchPowerArmor̶1; entry, for instance, causes your armor to give you a two-point bonus to strength at the cost of a two-point penalty to agility.
You can uncheck the ̶0;Power Armor̶1; box, located in the lower right corner, to wear power armors without first acquiring the ̶0;Power Armor Training̶1; perk.
Press the ̶0;OK̶1; button once you have finished modding your chosen armor.
Save your armor mod.
Use Fallout Mod Manager or the Fallout 3 Launcher to activate your mod.
