Bomb Pieces
The bomb pieces can be used in combination with the colored jewels. They are distinguished by color and a small bomb shaped icon. When matched with the colored jewels, the bomb destroys all jewels in adjacent positions surrounding it. The best cheat is by placing the bomb on the end of the 3 match line. This will eliminate the line and the three surrounding adjacent pieces that were next to the bomb.
Cannon Pieces
The cannon pieces are shaped in a cannon icon. After they are matched with the colored jewels, the cannon will shoot a ball in the direction it is facing. The ball travels until it reaches the end of the line, destroying every jewel in its path. This is an effective cheating tactic. It is best used in lines with jewels that you are having difficulty matching.
Red Blocks
Red blocks are displayed with colored jewels inside them. Many of the levels in Jewel of Atlantis will require you to eliminate all of the red blocks in the section in which you are playing. They can be matched with non red blocked jewels for 3 match line eliminations. Once a line with a red block is completed, the red block is destroyed and another colored jewel will move down in its place. A good cheat tip to know is that the jewels inside the red blocks can be moved to another adjacent location. However, the colored jewel moved must be placed in a location that forms a 3 match line.
Gray Blocks
Gray blocks look like metallic squares with colored jewels inside. You will encounter many Jewel of Atlantis sections that will require you to get rid of them. They are more difficult to eliminate. Matching a gray block with colored jewels will get rid of the gray box. However, it then becomes a red box, which will also need to be destroyed. The best cheat for the gray blocks is to get rid of them by using cannon or bomb pieces.
Colored Jewels
The colored jewels are the most important pieces in Jewel of Atlantis. Each jewel can be moved to an adjacent location surrounding it. The caveat is that it must match and form a line of three jewels. This means matching lines can be in a horizontal or vertical direction, but not diagonal. The quickest way to get through many levels is to look for pairs of like colored jewels. Cheat by maneuvering bomb and cannon pieces on the same line to eliminate more jewels and earn a higher score.
