Cheats for Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets

Weave magical spells and fight the evil forces of Voldimort in "Harry Potter &the Chamber of Secrets." While you control Harry Potter, you explore the school grounds of Hogwarts and unravel the mystery behind the dangers that surround Potter and his friends. During the course of your adventure, you slowly gain in power and level to combat your enemies. However, certain elements of the game can be manipulated early on to your advantage, allowing you to win the game much more easily than you normally would.

Instructions

  Navigate into your primary drive where the Harry Potter game is installed, and double-click on the "Windows" folder. Afterwards, open the "system" folder then locate the "game.ini" file.

  Open the "game.ini" file with Notepad. Afterwards, search for the following set of lines:
  
  (HGame.baseConsole)
  bDebugMode=False
  bUseSystemFonts=True

  Change the value of "bDebugMode=False" to "bDebugMode=True" without the quotes. Save the changes, close the file, and boot up the Harry Potter game.

  Load your game and at any time, press the following keyboard buttons to activate the appropriate cheat.
  
  Change game speed: "Page Up" or "Page Down"
  Full health: "F6"
  Learn all spells: "F9"
  Level select: "F4"
  Toggle ghost mode: "Delete"

  Press the tilde key (marked as the "~" symbol on your keyboard) to open up the console window. Type in any of the cheats below into the console to activate or modify certain game attributes. Note that the quotation marks are not necessary to type with each code.
  
  Get all Wizard cards: "giveallcards"
  Load quick-saved game: "loadgame1"
  Quit game immediately: "quit" or "exit"
  Save game without searching for book and load it again from the level-select option: "savegame 1"
  Set Berie Bott's Every Flavor Bean amount: "set statusitemjellybeans ncount" then any number between 1 through 9999999.
  Set Flobberworm Mucus amount: "set statusitemflobbermucus ncount" followed by a number from 1 to 9999999.
  Set Gryffindor House points: "set statusitemgryffindorpts ncount" then choose a number between 1 to 9999999.
  Set health points: "set statusitemhealth ncount" then a number from 1 through 600.
  Set Hufflepuff points: "set statusitemhufflepuffpts ncount" and set a number from 1 to 9999999.
  Set number of Boomslang skins: "set statusitemboomslang ncount" then type a number from 1 through 1000.
  Set Ravenclaw points: "set statusitemravenclawpts ncount" followed by any number between 1 to 9999999.
  Set Slytherin points: "set statusitemslytherinpts ncount" then a number between 1 and 9999999.
  Set Wiggentree Bark amount: "set statusitemwiggenbark ncount" then choose a number from 1 through 9999999.
  Set Wiggenwell Potion amount: "set statusitemwiggenwell ncount" then insert a number from 1 to 9999999.
