How to Hack Characters in Diablo 2

If you've ever lost your character information in Diablo II, due to a corrupt save file, hardware issue or any other computer problem, you can use a character editing program to create a new character with the exact stats you had before losing the original. You can also use these programs to hack your character and max out all of its stats, gold and experience. Character editors can also be used to add items to your inventory or edit items you already have. Diablo II Sector is a good resource for hacking characters, and offers a number of free downloads so you can edit your character to your liking.

  Download Diablo 2 character editor from the Diablo II Sector website (www.d2sector.net) and install the program on your computer.

  Run the program and open one of your character files. These will be found in the Save folder, in the location where you had originally installed the game.

  Edit your character. You can use this program to alter just about anything on your character, including class and name. For certain alterations, including experience, stats and gold, you'll need to enter a value into its respective box to change it. For other changes, such as character class, name and title, you can choose from a number of options from available pull down menus.

  Save your changes and exit the program. Launch Diablo II and load your edited character. When you check his stats, you'll be able to see all of the changes you've made.
