How to Get Rid of a Sims Ghost on a Computer

By now, most people know that the easiest way to create a ghost in "The Sims" is to send a Sim into the swimming pool and remove the ladder. Generally, that particular ghost will "swim" through the yard from around midnight to dawn. In most cases, ghosts will wander about in much the same manner that they died. Sims sleeping on the ground floor of a haunted lot may have their sleep disturbed by the ghosts running through their home. If you find it necessary to rid your lot of one or more ghosts, it can be accomplished by even the most novice of players.

     Double click on your "The Sims" program icon to open the game.

     After opening the game, choose the neighborhood where you built the house that is haunted.

     Select the haunted house and enter the lot.

   • 4

     Click on the icon to enter the shopping mode.

     Click on the urn or the tombstone and delete the item. If there are several ghosts and you only wish to delete a specific ghost, be certain to delete the specific urn or tombstone that belongs to that ghost. You can return to playing your game and no longer be troubled by the ghost.
