How to Make Tunnels in Roller Coaster Tycoon

Simulation game ̶0;Roller Coaster Tycoon̶1; lets you design and operate your very own full-sized theme park. While much of the game simply involves plopping down pre-fabricated buildings and attractions, such as information booths, Ferris wheels and funhouses, you have a full range of customization options when it comes to designing your theme park̵7;s roller coasters. You can lay down a nearly-endless series of tracks to create corkscrews, loop-de-loops and massive drops. Add tunnels to your roller coaster to leave your guests in the dark and add an extra bit of thrill.

Instructions

    • 1

Select the ̶0;New Ride̶1; icon, and then select ̶0;Roller Coaster̶1; and ̶0;Build This̶1; to start building your own roller coaster.

    • 2

Select the ̶0;Land̶1; icon (a shovel digging into dirt) when you̵7;ve reached the part of your track where you wish to place a tunnel.

    • 3

Click a tile of land near your roller coaster. Move your mouse upward to raise the land upwards and create a hill. Continue this process until the hill is as long as you want your tunnel to be.

    • 4

Click the ̶0;Track̶1; icon to continue placing track. Place the track through the hill and it will automatically form a tunnel through the hill and come out the other end.
