̶0;Roller Coaster Tycoon: Platinum̶1; is a compilation that contains ̶0;Roller Coaster Tycoon 3̶1; and the ̶0;Soaked!̶1; and ̶0;Wild!̶1; expansions. The game allows the player to design and manage his or her own amusement park. In addition, the player can design the rides to place in the park. There are a number of different cheats in the game. The cheat codes are entered by renaming any visitor in the park. The cheat will be active as long as that visitor remains in the park.

$10,000
- Money is used in ̶0;Roller Coaster Tycoon: Platinum̶1; to build rides, decorate the park, and pay staff. Normally, money is earned fairly slowly from ticket sales and concession stands. One of the cheats in the game instantly gives the player $10,000. Click on a visitor to bring up the visitor status window. Change the name of that visitor to ̶0;John D Rockefeller̶1; to gain $10,000.
Fully Train Entire Staff
- The various staff members in the game ensure that your amusement park runs safely and efficiently. You can normally train each staff member for $350. This will cause that staff member to work faster and more effectively. A cheat code in the game will allow you to fully train your entire staff for $1,000. This is a substantial discount, especially if your park has a very large staff. Change the name of a visitor to ̶0;Isambard Kingdom Brunel̶1; to activate this cheat.
No Breakdowns
- Over time rides in ̶0;Roller Coaster Tycoon: Platinum̶1; will break down. This renders the ride inoperable until it is repaired. Broken down rides decrease visitor satisfaction and revenue, especially when larger, more popular rides break down. Entering ̶0;Frontier̶1; as the name of a visitor will cause rides to never break down.
Visitor Happiness Increase
- One of the cheat codes in the game will increase the happiness of all visitors in the park. Happy visitors spend more money and increase the reputation of the amusement park. Change the name of a visitor to ̶0;Melanie Warn̶1; to increase the happiness throughout your park.
Visitors Ride All Rides
- Visitors choose to ride rides based on a few different factors, including ride preferences and the price to ride the ride. There are two codes that will force visitors to ride every ride in the park. This cheat works most effectively if your park has visitors pay to go on each individual ride. Change the name of a visitor to ̶0;Jon Roach̶1; to force visitors to ride all non-roller coaster rides before leaving your amusement park. Change the name of a visitor to ̶0;Sam Denney̶1; to force visitors to ride every roller coaster in your park before leaving.
