Scorpion Advice
If you are driving a Warthog (ground vehicle) and see a Scorpion (tank) while in multiplayer mode, your first reaction might be to fire away at a distance or run away--but don't. Scorpions can take a lot of damage, and by the time you get a few shots in (even if you're using the cannon), it'll be too late. If you try to run, the Scorpion will hit you from behind.
The best thing to do is actually drive straight at the tank. The Warthog will actually go under the Scorpion and flip it over, allowing you to blast the driver away or run him over.
Become a Ghost
This works on the multiplayer map Sidewinder, with a team of at least two people. One person should get into a tank, drive it up the incline near the warp, and back it up so it blocks the crevice. The second person should first obtain a sniper rifle and/or rocket launcher, and drive a Ghost (rapid-assault vehicle) to the same spot, so that the two vehicles are facing each other. When both drivers accelerate forward, the tank will push the Ghost off the map graphics (it'll look totally white). The player who was riding the Ghost can exit the vehicle and snipe people from a distance. This sniper will be able to see the other players, but he will remain invisible to them.
Even Hunters Have an Achilles Heel
Hunters are incredibly difficult to kill, due to their high defense. However, look carefully at their necks, and you will see an orange spot--this is a weak spot in their armor. All it takes is one shot--from any gun--and you will kill them instantly. The best way to do this is to zoom in with a sniper rifle.
If you're being chased by a hunter in multiplayer mode, you can "ambush" them. Just lead the hunter past your teammate (waiting at a predetermined point), allowing this second player an open shot at the orange spot of instant death.
