Fate 2 Cheats

"Fate 2: Undiscovered Realms" is a PC dungeon crawler (a role-playing game in which the player leads a character through different levels of a dungeon, defeating monsters and collecting gold in order to increase his level and proceed even further). The dungeons in "Fate 2" are randomized, so treasures and monsters will be different each time you visit a level. Players can import their characters from the first "Fate" if they wish.
  1. Cheat Codes

    • "Fate 2" can be quite challenging, particularly at the higher levels, and sometimes a little push can help you get past a difficult level. This can come in the form of extra gold--which can enable the player to buy more powerful equipment, spells and armor--or an instant healing code, perfect for boss battles.

In order to enable the code box, go to the Adventure screen and hold down the following keys: ctrl, shift and "-". Click the question mark on the left side of the screen and enter the codes below:

"Gold"--your character will suddenly become 500,000 gold pieces richer.

"Heal"--this code will heal your character completely.

"God"--you will increase five levels. This also increases the level of any pets you may have.

"Experience"- this will increase your experience, though not a lot (the exact amount depends on the level of your character. If your aim is to increase levels, however, you might as well use the "god" code).

Type the name of any item or monster and one will appear right next to you. Although it might not seem very logical, these monsters can even appear in the middle of an otherwise safe town.

    Moving Fast

    • "Fate 2" is a very good game, but like all dungeon crawlers it can grow a bit repetitive, given the limited locations. Sometimes you may wish to return to a previous level to acquire a treasure you missed the first time around (since treasure locations are randomized, there is a good deal of luck involved, unless you explore every nook and cranny). Unfortunately, in order to return to a previous level, you will have to trek through all the levels you have already cleared and defeat the re-spawned monsters. An easier method is to re-open the cheat box described in section one, then type "Ascend #"--with # equaling the amount of floors you would like to go up. For example, if you are on Level 5 and would like to return to Level 3, you would type "Ascend 2."

This also works in reverse. If a level is particularly frustrating and you would like to just skip to the next one, simply type "Descend 1." Or "Descend 1000"--if you'd like to die quickly.

    Level 27

    • Even if you have a very high level and status, you may receive a message when you try to descend past level 27 that "You are not ready to go any further." If you receive this message, it's because you have some unfinished business. There are two hero statues in the Temple of Fate that are missing several items--these items must be found in the dungeon and placed in the slots on the statues (the locations of these items are randomized, so all you can do is look until you find them). In addition, you will be assigned two quests, one by Cyrus the bird and another by Twiger the tree. Both of these quests must be completed before you can descend further into the dungeon.

Or you could just use the code "Descend 1" and skip everything. But that would be cheating.
