Making Fire
Making a fire is vital to survival in this game. It can dry you off, let you cook any food you find and send out smoke signals to signal help. Making fire requires source, tinder and fuel. The source can be a flint or a lens. There are flints around the beach area and in a dark opening on the left cliff face. Find the telescope in the treasure chest, which you locate by following the sea turtle digging routes, and use its lens as a source. Find tinder by looking for small, dry objects like paper, amadou and lichen. Amadou and lichen grow on wet areas such as the archway by the beach. Scavenge in the woods for logs, planks, coal, palm branches and sticks--these will be your fuel. Go into your inventory and combine the three objects. They will become one object named "ready-made fire." Find a dry spot to start your fire. Every time you make a fire, you will have to go through the same process.
Fishing Rod
When you start the game, you will be exhausted and low on health. This can be a major problem. Once your health is gone, you die. The easiest way to get health early in the game is to find fish to eat. But first you need to make a fishing rod. Start by combining your knife with a brown coconut lying on the ground. This will make a rope. Burn acacias to get their thorns. Take the forked branch and combine it with that rope and the thorns. Dig into the ground in the woods to find worms and combine them with the fishing rod. You now have a ready-to-go fishing rod. Click your fishing rod on the ocean to cast it out. Once you catch a fish, you will automatically reel it back in. Cook it on your fire and eat it to increase your health.
Beach Items
You start the game on the beach with the goal of finding all the items there, and it can be one of the more difficult puzzles to solve. This is because you are starting the game with nothing and have depleted health, meaning you must be very careful. When you start, turn around and go to the cliff. You will see a ghost above the cliff. Look down, and you will see a rusty key. Immediately pick it up. Go to the right and look up at the nest. This will be on the ledge of the cliff. It's easily reachable. Grab the bird's egg. The egg can increase your health, but only once it is cooked. Find the transit and take all the items in its frame. Go toward the arch and look at the boat. You can't do anything with the boat right now. Instead turn right and pick up the seaweed on the ground.
