How to Change Player Colors for Counterstrike

"Counterstrike" is based off the flexible Half-Life 2 engine. This engine allows for a lot of customization in game and puts the player in control of the smallest details, provided they know the appropriate console commands. Fortunately, changing colors requires only a single command and is easy to do.

Instructions

  1. Changing Colors

    • 1

      Open up the game, and join a server.

      Hold down the "~" key to bring down the input console.

    • 3

      Type "con_color xxx xxx xxx," where the each X represents a number. These numbers correspond to RGB values and can be altered to create different color combinations.

    • 4

      Keep typing in different values for the numbers until you find the combination that looks right to you.

    • 5

      Close the console by hitting the "~," and enjoy your new color in game.
