Gold
The easiest way to obtain gold in "Stronghold Legends" is by continually destroying your own stockpiles. Each destroyed stockpile will yield a small amount of gold, and new stockpiles can be placed for free once the original has been destroyed. This trick can be repeated indefinitely until you have the amount of gold you desire, but remember that you will have to keep refilling your stockpiles with raw materials to continue using this trick. Raw materials can be purchased from a market for relatively low prices as soon as the market has been built.
Weapons
Weapons are produced by the various types of weapon-makers that can be recruited in "Stronghold Legends." Raising your town's taxes is a way to pay for these weapons. Once you have purchased enough weapons to properly outfit your army, you can lower taxes to their original amount to appease the masses.
Arthur's Campaign
There are a few tricks you can use during Arthur's campaign to make it less stressful. After battling your way through the Saxon warlords and rescuing Sir Bedievere, you'll have to protect your castle at all costs, and Bedievere will help you. The brunt of the assault will come from the sea, so be prepared to defend against the Pictish boat warriors until Merlin arrives. Once Merlin is there and you have destroyed the Saxons' stronghold, you can begin building Camelot. To complete the scenario you must finish Camelot before Lady Guinevere arrives.
Another trick can be used while Arthur is on the dragon island. Place a siege camp in your castle and build two enchanted orbs. Instruct the enchanted orbs to attack the bridge near your castle. Any enemy troops attempting to cross the bridge won't stand a chance against the attacks from the enchanted orbs. Remember that your own troops will be vulnerable to this attack as well, so you'll need to stop your orbs to cross the bridge and attack your enemy.
