The second game of the Age of Empires series is Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. The game spans a thousand years after the fall of Rome. Players can take control of 13 civilizations and lead them to victory.

- Input chat cheats by pressing the "Enter" button to open up the chat line while playing the game.
  
  Receive 1000 Units of Food: cheese steak jimmy's
  Receive 1000 Units of Stone: rock on
  Receive 1000 Units of Gold: robin hood
  Receive 1000 Units of Wood: lumberjack
  Reveal the entire map: marco
  Remove Fog of War: polo
  Kill All Enemies: black death
  Kill Specific Enemy: torpedo "x" (Replace x with 1-8)
  Win campaign: i r winner
  Instant Building Construction: aegis
Hotkey/Shortcut Cheats
- Shortcuts can be toggled on and off during while playing a campaign.
  
  Speed up building construction: Ctrl + Q
  Build invincible structures: Ctrl + P
  Different resource menu: Ctrl + T
  View ending sequence: Ctrl + C

- To activate a cheat, attach its corresponding switch to the command line parameter.
  
  Activate auto saving: AUTOMPSAVE
  Default mouse driver: NORMALMOUSE
  Disable ambient sounds: NOTERRAINSOUND
