Dawn of War 2 Cheats

̶0;Dawn of War II̶1; is a real-time strategy (RTS) game set in the ̶0;Warhammer 40,000̶1; game universe. Unlike more games in the genre, the single-player game has no base building or unit construction. Players get only the forces they bring into the battle. Multiplayer games can have a more standard RTS-style game with base building and unit construction included. The game includes a few glitches that can be exploited to allow players to cheat.
  1. Instant Orbital Bombardment

    • The Space Marine̵7;s orbital bombardment ability in ̶0;Dawn of War II̶1; causes orbiting spacecraft to fire on the planet̵7;s surface. Only the toughest units in the ̶0;Warhammer 40,000̶1; universe, such as Terminator squads, can survive this attack. Normally, there is a delay between orbital bombardment being used and the actual bombardment occurring. This gives time for the enemy target to move out of range. An exploit in the game allows players to cheat and instantly use this attack. The glitch requires a Force Commander with the Battlecry ability. All you need to do is use Battlecry immediately after using orbital bombardment. The bombardment will occur when Battlecry is used rather than waiting for the normal duration.

    Angel̵7;s Gate Building Glitch

    • Use a cheat in the Angel̵7;s Gate map in ̶0;Dawn of War II̶1; to easily defeat opponents. Because of an unusual glitch, units garrisoned in buildings in this map become immune to grenades. Garrisoning buildings with units capable of suppression fire will make normal attacks nearly impossible. Normally, the only method of defeating such units would be grenades, but the glitch causes these units to be immune to grenades. Placing garrisoned buildings in choke points will cause your opponent to be unable to enter your side of the map, which allows you to defeat him at your leisure.

    AI Exploit

    • The AI in ̶0;Dawn of War II̶1; has an exploit that can make it very easy to keep enemies from attacking you. Unusual for a game in the ̶0;Warhammer 40,000̶1; universe, AI forces do not prioritize killing enemies in multiplayer games. The AI focuses on sending scouts around the map to capture resources. Scouts are weak, easily killed units. Simply set up ambushes of stronger troops near resource points. These troops will kill the scouts. Instead of attacking the ambushes, the AI will keep sending scouts to try to claim the same resource point. This gives you more time to amass your forces to attack the AI base.
