Activating Cheats

• To use cheats in Call of Duty: United Offensive, you must first activate your ability to cheat. This is done in the Control Console, which is a command prompt that you can bring down while you are in the game. To access the Control Console, press the "~" key, which is to the left of the number "1" on most keyboards. When you arrive at the command prompt, type "+set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1" without the quotes and press "Enter." You will now be able to enter specific cheat commands.

Health and Weapons

• Nothing will make the game easier than giving yourself all the health, weapons and ammunition you need. Enter the following commands in the control console to achieve the described effects:

  give health - full health
  give all - get all items
  give ammo - fill up ammunition
  god - become invincible
  notarget - enemies will not see you
  kill - commit suicide

Moving Around

• The cheat commands for Call of Duty: United Offensive also give you the ability to fly or pass through walls. If really fast transportation is your thing, you can even teleport instantly from level to level. Type the following commands into the command console to achieve the described effects:

  noclip - pass through walls
  ufo - fly
  map (mapname) - play a different level. Map names that you can specify are bastogne1, bastone2, foy, noville, bomber, trainbridge, sicily1, sicily2, trenches, ponyri, kursk, kharkov1, and kharkov2.

  There are several more cheat commands available, though most are going to be for more technically inclined players. To see all commands, type "cmdlst" into the Command Console.
