Adventure Chronicles Hints & Cheats

"Adventure Chronicles: The Search for Lost Treasures" is a PC puzzle-solving game. You are Dr. Susan Anderson, an archaeologist looking for beautiful finds for her museum. You travel the world solving puzzles, looking for clues and clicking on everything you see. This game can be difficult to solve, so hints and cheats are helpful for finishing it.
  1. Compass Puzzle

    • In the Lost Mayan tomb, there is a compass puzzle that can be difficult to decipher without hints. The only clue you get for this puzzle is "look in the direction of the answer." On the floor there will be a compass with floor stones with symbols. A statue will stand in the middle of the room, and four tiles on the wall match the symbols on the stones. Look throughout the room to find the statue's head. Place it on the status, and click it to rotate the head. Click on the head, and then click on the symbol on the wall that corresponds to the compass direction the head is facing. Click on the head again, and press the tile corresponding to the new direction it is looking. You know you'll have the right stone when it stays depressed. Do this until all four are depressed, opening up the door to the next room.

    Use Your Brush

    • One of the most important yet neglected tools in the game is the brush. There are many times when you are in the tombs where clues and other objects will be covered with dust. You won't notice, as there will be dust everywhere in the tombs. Use your brush constantly to brush away the dust. Without your brush, you will miss clues and puzzles. Even though it may seem like an annoying waste of time, using your brush in every room and on every piece of dust will ultimate save you a lot of time as you try to solve puzzles without necessary and vital clues. Always make sure to read your journal as well because it contains clues and information that are necessary to finishing the game.

    Opening the Tomb

    • One of the most difficult puzzles in the game is opening the tomb. You have to press the tiles on the walls in a specific order or the tomb will not open. Though it can be easier if you read the right clues and check your journal often, it can still cause a lot of problems for the beginning player. Here is the solution. Start at the back wall and press the middle tile first, then the left tile and end with the right. Press the tile on the left wall and then the tile on the right. You will receive a blue stone. Look up at the ceiling for a hexagon-shaped hole. Place the stone in there. Light will beam down and show you several symbols on the stone ring. These symbols should be noted for a later puzzle. They include a cow's head, a jar and a leaf. Once you've written these clues down, take the blue stone and place it in the center of the stone rings. The tomb will open up after a few moments, and you can enter.
