How to Configure Cheat Engine for RF Online

  Download and install Cheat Engine.

  Disable any anti-virus programs before running Cheat Engine; some of these programs may interfere with Cheat Engine's operations.

  Run Cheat Engine and click the computer button in the upper left corner of Cheat Engine's interface. You'll see a list of games on your computer which Cheat Engine can access.

  Scroll down to and select ̶0;RF_Online.bin.̶1; The words ̶0;no process selected,̶1; which appear to the right of the computer button, should change to a series of numbers followed by ̶0;RF_Online.bin.̶1;

Item Level Cheat

  Use this cheat if you want to make high-level items available to low-level characters and begin by giving the item whose levels you want to change to the character you plan on having equip them. Also, ensure that ̶0;RF_Online.bin̶1; is selected.

  Set the value type to ̶0;Text̶1; and enter the name of your weapon or armor, into the box labeled ̶0;Value.̶1;

  Press the ̶0;Next Scan̶1; button until the result ̶0;XX 03 FF XX FF̶1; appears; note that the ̶0;XX̶1; values will actually be numbers representing level and PT requirements, respectively.

  Change the ̶0;XX̶1; values to reflect the levels at which you want your character to be able to use the item. Changing both ̶0;XX̶1; values to ̶0;01,̶1; for instance, would allow you to use the item at a level and PT of one. (see references 2)

Burst Fire Cheat

  Use this cheat to greatly increase your weapon's rate of fire. Begin by ensuring that ̶0;RF_Online.bin̶1; is selected.

  Set value type to ̶0;Text̶1; and search for your weapon.

  Scan until you find the value ̶0;A8 08̶1; and replace it with the value ̶0;00 00.̶1;

  Find for your character by searching for the character's name, making sure that value type is still set to ̶0;Text.̶1;

  Change value type to ̶0;Bytes̶1; and add the values ̶0;80̶1; and ̶0;3F̶1; before ̶0;128̶1; and ̶0;63,̶1; respectively. (see references 3)
