Khufu the Monkey

• Khufu is your ally. He provides verbal encouragement and helps you clear the game board. Every five moves, Khufu will charge one jewel. You can use this jewel to blow up several jewels in close proximity.

  If you match more than three jewels or use a charged jewel, all of the blown jewels will drop to the floor, and the scarab will pick them up. The jewels give Khufu magical powers. The more you collect, the more magic he can use. Khufu may do a mega sweep or send out fireballs that destroy jewels and fill in blank spaces on the board. All of these things help you fill in the blanks faster, so collect as many jewels as possible.

Seth's Tricks

• There are several tokens designed to disrupt game play. Seth tokens are unmatchable and block you from making matches. You can get rid of them with a charged token, by shuffling the board or waiting for Khufu to assist. Token tombs will cover a token, making in unmatchable. To get rid of these, you need to make a match in the vicinity of the token tomb or use the shuffle function. The cursed connection looks like a chain and will keep an empty space from lighting up. You need to eliminate the chain by making a match in order to free up that space.

Other Game Considerations

• Play in relaxed mode; there̵7;s no time limit and you still get all the points and bonuses.

  You can match jewels that are connected along a continuous line. Some of the lines curve or bend, allowing you to match jewels at an angle. If you match the jewels surrounding an open spot, the spot will fill in.

  You can restart the game from the menu inside, but avoid doing so if you are trying for a trophy. In order to get a trophy, you need to complete several levels in a row without exiting.

  If you get stuck, use the shuffle function, but be aware that each time you use it, it will take longer to recharge. However, this is only an issue if you are playing in timed mode. During relaxed play, you can hit shuffle as many times as you want. If you run out of matches, the game will automatically shuffle for you̵2;this is the same as if you̵7;d hit shuffle and the game will need time to refresh. If you are having trouble finding matches, the game will give you hints by showing a glowing line between swappable jewels.
