Spider-Man 2 PC Game Cheats

Activision̵7;s 2004 PC game Spider-Man 2, based on the film of the same name, provides a different experience from the console versions for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube. Unlike the open-ended play of the console versions, the PC game is a more linear, stripped-down, simplified affair (possibly), according to GameSpot, in order to appeal to a younger audience.
  1. Selecting Levels

    • You can select the level you want to play by starting a new game and selecting ̶0;FLUWDEAR̶1; as the name. However, this requires playing through the entire game with a 100 percent completion. This means that not only must every mission be completed, but you must find hidden items like the 78 exotic spiders and capture the 28 escaped inmates in the game.

    Increasing Life

    • You can upgrade Spider-Man̵7;s health by editing the game̵7;s save file, which can be found in the game̵7;s installation folder. Use the Notepad program to open the file "Gamestate.ini," changing ̶0;MaxHealth=100 // 200̶1; to ̶0;MaxHealth=10000 // 20000.̶1; Now, when you play, Spider-Man can withstand much more damage before he is defeated.

    Unlocking Missions

    • In the game̵7;s system folder, editing the ̶0;game 0.ini̶1; file with Notepad can unlock a mission of your choice, provided you change the map name and level number. For example, to unlock Mission 2 of Level 5, the file should read ̶0;Map=TwistedCity_Part02.whr̶1; and ̶0;Level=5̶1;. Or, for Mission 4 of Level 6, put ̶0;Map=Wharf_Warehouse.whr̶1; and ̶0;Level=6̶1; in the Notepad file. This cheat requires knowing the file names of every map.
