Deer Hunt Challenge Cheats

As any deer hunter in the real world could tell you bagging a trophy buck or doe is much harder than it sounds. Battling the elements and environment in hopes of taking a deer is difficult despite advancements in weapons and technology. Luckily, the folks at EA Sports gave armchair hunters a chance with the 1999 PC game ̶0;Deer Hunt Challenge,̶1; and unlike the real world, there are cheats for the hunter to use.

It Marks the Spot
- It̵7;s often tough to spot a deer through the thick underbrush and denseness of the foliage. Most ̶0;Deer Hunter Challenge̶1; players spend a fair amount of in-game time searching out the deer throughout the various maps. The game does little in the way of giving hints. All a ̶0;hunter̶1; has to do is boot up his computers, start a game, and start out on any of the various terrains. At the beginning of the stage, press "X" on your keyboard. An illuminated light green ̶0;X̶1; appears on the onscreen terrain map to show where the various deer are hiding out. This deer finder trick works for all stages and all deer--even on all the specialty hunting challenges--and it is a sure-fire way to gain points. Approach the deer slowly and quietly to avoid spooking the animal. If the deer moves, press "X" again to find the new location.
