How to Break a Star Prize in Bejewed Blitz

"Bejeweled Blitz" is a puzzle video game from the "Bejeweled" series. You must make sets of three gems, four gems or five gems to complete chains of gems. The more gems your chain together, the higher your score goes and the harder the puzzles become. The puzzles introduce more colors and fewer chains. One of the best chains you can achieve is when you break a Star Gem. Breaking the Star Gem gives you even more points and provides a more difficult gaming experience.

     Start a new game.

     Maneuver the gems. Make the gems into a potential L shape, then move the out-of-place gem into the correct spot in the corner where the lines meet. The L shape will break a star gem. Match the star gem to unleash its power -- the ability to remove one column and one row from the board.

     Maneuver the gems into the shape of a T. Like the L shape, making a T will break a star gem and unleash its power.
