Warcraft 2 Cheats

"Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness" is a real-time strategy game that was released in 1995. Players can take control of either the Human or Orc faction, each with its own unique buildings and units. The player must gather resources, build buildings, and train units to build a large enough force to defeat his or her opponent. The game includes several passwords that allow the player to cheat. Each password is input by pressing the "Enter" key and typing the password in to the prompt that appears.

Resource Passwords
- Resources are an important part of "Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness." Use them to build buildings and to train and upgrade units. Using passwords to give additional resources is an easy way to cheat at this game. It will allow you to quickly build your base and train units. You will be able to build powerful units like Human Paladins or Orc Ogre-Mages a lot earlier if you do not need to wait for Peasants and Peons to collect resources. The password to increase the speed lumber is harvested is "hatchet." Entering "spycob" or "valdez" will give the player 5000 oil resources. The password "glittering prizes" will give 10000 gold, 5000 lumber, and 5000 oil resources.
Building and Upgrade Passwords
- The ability to build and upgrade units and buildings earlier is a substantial advantage in "Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness." You will have a much easier time destroying enemy bases if you can field strong units before your opponent. Entering "make it so" will cause your buildings to be built in a few seconds rather than the normal amount of time. The password "free buildings" will unlock every building and upgrade so each can be built without the normal prerequisites. You will still need to build the building each upgrade is researched at before you can use it. Entering "deck me out" will automatically build all the upgrades available.
Victory and Defeat Passwords
- Several of the passwords in "Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness" deal with victory or defeat in a mission. Not all of these passwords are beneficial cheats to the game. The password to automatically win a mission is "unite the clans." This will cause the game to act as though the victory condition for the mission has been completed. Entering "tigerlilly" will skip the current mission. It is slightly different because you skip to the next mission rather than seeing the victory screen. This password is useful if you just want to jump to the next mission. Entering "never a winner" will cause the game to never end, even if the victory conditions are fulfilled. This is most useful if you want to obliterate the opponent in a mission that normally ends before that occurs. Entering "allowsync" will cause you to surrender during a multiplayer match.
