Bots

• Leveling up and gaining experience and gold can be a tedious endeavor. The amount of experience required to advance levels goes up exponentially, so leveling up your character takes more and more time. In order to shorten the process of leveling, you can download a bot which will level up and collect gold for you. A bot is a ghost program that runs your character automatically. Once your bot is set up, log in to your account and activate it after setting several parameters. You can tell your bot what areas to go to, what monsters to attack and which monsters to avoid. You can set your bot to go to a bank when your inventory is full, and to rest or heal when he is injured. Once you have all of these parameters set, run your bot and come back several hours later to check on its progress. Warning: bots are only permitted on private servers in Silkroad Online.

Tips and Tricks

• To gain an experience boost, party up with up to three other members and select the option to not share experience. For each member in the party you will receive an experience boost for every kill you make. For two man parties you will receive a 5% boost, for three a 7.5% boost, and for four member parties you receive a 10% boost.

  If you are tired of waiting to recast your buffering spells, right-click the spell icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Once you have right clicked to cancel it, immediately recast the spell to avoid the waiting period. This can save you much needed time when exploring dangerous areas.

  If you are looking to change guilds immediately and not wait the required three days, have them kick you while you are offline. If you are removed from your guild while you are not logged into Silkroad Online you can immediately join another guild.

  When designing your character, make sure you have an overall plan in mind. You should design your character to have specific strengths and focus mostly on improving those attributes. Having a character that has abilities that span across many classes is often less effective than focusing your abilities into one or two specific categories. If you want your character to be a fighter, don't waste skill points on magic and focus them on fighting abilities and so on.
