Cheats for the Sims Deluxe Edition for a Computer

The Sims Deluxe Edition is a video game designed for play on a PC. This game is loosely based on real-life scenarios, allowing you to build homes, build families and earn money by going to work. Cheat codes enhance your character's style of living, giving you increased assets that you would otherwise not be able to achieve quickly in normal game play.

Cheat Mode
- To enter cheats, you have to first enter cheat mode. On your keyboard, press Control + Shift + C simultaneously, and the cheat box will appear. Enter the corresponding cheat code, and press enter to activate the cheat.
Increased Simoleons
- Simoleons are Sims money. To gain 1,000 Simoleons, enter cheat code "klapaucius". To gain 50,000 Simoleons, enter cheat code "motherlode". This will allow you to quickly build homes and purchase items that it would otherwise take you hours of game play to access.
Add New Family History
- To add a new family history to an existing family, enter cheat code "hist_add". This will improve the stats and rank of your family members, allowing them to have better jobs, better homes and live more lavishly. In normal game play, you must create a family history from scratch, which can take a long period of time.
Repair Lots
- Lots require maintenance, which can be costly when repairs need to be done. By entering cheat code "prepare_lot", you can check and repair any lot damage, free of charge. This will allow you to fix anything that may be wrong with your living area without spending any of your own money.
