Entering cheat codes
The following codes come courtesy of actiontrip.com and gamespot.com. For those players who are unfamiliar with how to enter the codes, the process is simple: during the game, press the "ENTER" key on your keyboard. This will open up a text box. Usually, this is used to communicate with other players in a multiplayer match. It can also be used to enter codes. Enter the codes given here without the quotation marks.
Use these codes if you find yourself stuck or you're just looking to spice up your "Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs" experience. If you use the codes as a crutch, try to use them only when necessary; you will not improve your skill in this game if you fall back to the cheats every time the game gets tough.
Eliminating the Fog of War
"Age of Empires III", like its predecessors, is a real-time strategy game. Part of the difficulty is a "fog of war", allowing you to see only what your units would be able to see. If you want to turn this off, type in "x marks the spot." If you are looking for an instant win, type "this is too hard."
Building bases
To improve your base building skills, you need time and resources. In some levels, these essentials are noticeably lacking. If you need resources, use the following codes: "medium rare please" will give you 10,000 food; typing "give me liberty or give me coin" stocks your gold up by 10,000; for experience points and wood (10,000 of each), type "nova &orion." If you need to build and gather faster, use this code: "speed always wins."
