Use your mouse to click on things. Objects which turn the cursor green can be used, spoken to, etc. When the mouse turns blue and starts pulsing, that means you can exit in that direction or use that vehicle.
Right-click to draw your weapon. Mouse over an object to be killed. If the crosshairs start rotating, left-click to shoot. You may have to shoot several times before something dies.
Talking to people and inspecting a crime scene is the only sure way to collect all the evidence you need to solve crimes. Be thorough!
Be aware that the game changes each time you play it. There are hundreds of variables involving characters and events, most of which are randomly determined each time you start the game. People may give you different information or react differently which in turn can vastly effect the outcome!
Inspect the piece of chrome on the ground.
Inspect the fire hydrant.
Talk to the cop.
Inspect the door.
Talk to any of the crowd of people to get the cop to canvas the crowd.
Inspect the garbage can.
Head inside.
Move a little to your left and look for the gun cartridge on the floor.
Talk to Runciter until McCoy says "Stick around."
Inspect the camera hanging from the ceiling.
Head to the back of the store.
Inspect the Monkey poster.
Pick up the toy dog.
Pick up the chopstick wrapper on the floor.
Pick up the candy bar on the desk.
Head back outside.
Talk to the cop again for an additional tidbit of info.
Listen to yourself think, then get into your Spinner and head to the Police Station.
