How to Override Health Settings in Unreal Tournament

"Unreal Tournament" helped to launch the online multi player first-person shooter video game genre when it was released in 1999. While there are a number of different game modes available, the general premise behind all of them is to pit the player against a team of opponents, either over the internet or against artificial intelligence bots, in fast paced and brutal armed combat. To stop your character from losing health and dying during the game, you can enable "god mode," which renders you impervious to physical harm.

     Start a match of "Unreal Tournament" in any game mode.

     Open the console screen by pressing the ~ key, or the key above Tab on your keyboard.

   • 3

     Type the word "god" into the console.

   • 4

     Press return to enter the code and exit the console.
