How to Type a Cheat on Alpha Protocol

"Alpha Protocol" is a shoot-em-up action game released for the PC, Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 where gamers play an international spy. You can edit specific files in your PC version of the game to "cheat" and change in-game statistics like giving yourself more AP points, changing ammunition attributes and modifying how many kills it takes to earn perks.

Instructions

  1. "Easy AP" cheat

    • 1

Click the "My Computer" icon on your computer. Open the "C" drive. Open the "Program Files" folder, then the "Sega" folder. Open the "Alpha Protocol" folder then the "APGame" folder. Open the "Config" folder.

    • 2

Right click the file labeled "DefaultLevelChart.ini" and select "Copy" from the menu. Right click inside the folder and click "Paste" to create a copy of the DefaultLevelChart.ini file. Right-click the copied file and select "Open With." Choose "Notepad."

    • 3

Find the line "LevelChart(MinXPNeeded=0, APGained=30, SkillCap=4, SpecialSkillCap=4)" within the document. Change the "APGained" number to 500, the "SkillCap" number to 10, and the "SpecialSkillCap" to 15.
