How to Open the Console in Call of Duty: World at War

Play as American and Russian soldiers in various campaigns during World War II in the game "Call of Duty: World at War." The PC version of this 2008 title features a cheat console you can turn on in the game's options. This allows you to access the console during gameplay to activate a number of cheats, some of which will give you bonus weapons and ammunition and others that make you impossible to kill. You can also skip levels with cheats in this game.

Instructions

  Enter the "Options" menu from the main menu and select "Yes" to turn on the cheat console.

  Press the "~" key during gameplay to open the cheat console. Activate a cheat by typing the code and then hitting the "Enter" key.

  Make yourself invincible by entering "God" mode. Type "god" to activate.

  Enter the code "give all" to access all of the game's weapons. Get infinite ammunition with the code "sf_use_ignoreammo 1."

  Change the view to "Silent Movie" mode with the code "sf_use_chaplin 1." Use the cheat "sf_use_bw 1" to access "Black and White Movie" mode. Play in the "Photo Negative" mode with the cheat "sf_use_invert 1."

  Reach the game's last two levels with some cheats. Input "devmap oki2" to play "Blowtorch &Corkscrew" and the code "devmap oki3" to play "Breaking Point."
