Basic Vehicles
There are several basic cars that you can obtain just about anywhere in "Vice City", but if you wish to immediately spawn one of these vehicles at any moment, simply type in the following words to receive the corresponding cars. Type in "GETTHEREFAST" to spawn a Sabre Turbo, a two-door muscle car fashioned after late 1960s-early '70s American muscle cars. To spawn the hearse, type in "THELASTRIDE." Similar to other limousines seen throughout the game, the Love Fist Stretch Limo is featured in one of the challenges in "Vice City". Type in the word "ROCKANDROLLCAR" to access this particular limousine. To spawn the garbage truck titled the Trashmaster, type in "RUBBISHCAR".
Specialty Vehicles
Unlike the basic vehicles, specialty vehicles make appearances only in certain areas around the game. These types of vehicles are not available during regular in-game play. Type in "TRAVELINSTYLE" to spawn one of the available Bloodring Banger cars, the demolition-style racers in the stadium challenges of "Vice City". To spawn an alternate Bloodring Banger, type in "GETTHEREQUICKLY" during gameplay. The Hotring Racers are seen when entering the stadium just like the Bloodring Banger, but are geared more towards speed and fashioned after stock cars. To spawn one version of the Hotring Racer, type in "GETTHEREVERYFASTINDEED". To spawn an alternate version of the Hotring Racer, type in "GETTHEREAMAZINGLYFAST." As seen by the military during high wanted levels, you can spawn a Rhino Tank by typing the word "PANZER" during gameplay. To spawn a Golf Caddie, which is only available once entering the country club on the north side of "Vice City", type in "BETTERTHANWALKING."
Vehicle Effects
In contrast with the previous two sections of cheats, "Vice City" has numerous cheats to alter the way your car performs within the game. To cause all of the nearby cars to your character to explode, type in "BIGBANG." To turn aggressive A1-style of driving on, type in "MIAMITRAFFIC." Type in "AHAIRDRESSERSCAR" to turn all cars pink, or type in "IWANTITPAINTEDBLACK" to turn all cars black. To improve the handling of your vehicle, type in "GRIPISEVERYTHING." To give all vehicles the ability to fly, type in "COMEFLYWITHME" during gameplay. Similarly, type in "SEAWAYS" to allow all cars to hover over water. To turn vehicles invisible, except for the wheels, type in "WHEELSAREALLINEED." Type in "LOADSOFLITTLETHINGS" during gameplay to give most vehicles large wheels.
Weapons
There are three basic cheats in "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" that allow you to stock up on weapons. Repeating these cheats allows you to gain more ammunition for each of the weapons. If you decide to use the cheats of other weapons, the new weapons will replace the other ones. To obtain the light weapons, type in "THUGSTOOLS" during gameplay. To obtain the medium weapons, type in "PROFESSIONALTOOLS", and to obtain the heavy weapons, type in "NUTTERTOOLS".
