Half-Life: Opposing Force Cheats

In "Half-Life: Opposing Force," you play as Colonel Adrian Shephard, who is sent to clean up the mess at the Black Mesa facility that was the central plot of the original "Half-Life" game. This 1999 PC title includes several cheats that give you powers to help you advance through the game, as well as the ability to skip levels.

Turning on the Cheats
- Go into the shortcut to play the game and edit it so that it says "C:SierraHalf-Lifehl.exe -console +sv_cheats 1 -game gearbox." This will activate the cheat console and order the game to obey the commands you type into the box. Press the "~" key during game play to open the console. Type codes and press the "Enter" key to activate them.
Super Abilities
- Use the code "noclip" and you can fly through the air and walk through walls. Make yourself invincible with God Mode: Type the word "god" to activate this assist. Enter the cheat "notarget" and enemies will not attack you, making them easy targets for your strikes.
Guns and Views
- Get every weapon in the game, full ammunition for those weapons and full armor for yourself with the cheat code "Impulse 101." Switch the in-game camera from the standard first-person view to a third-person perspective by entering "Thirdperson."
Level Skips
- You can also move the action to any level in the game by entering cheat codes in the console. Access "Missing in Action" with the code "map of2a1." Use the code "map of3a1" to play "We Are Not Alone." Enter "map of4a1" to access "Vicarious Reality." Go to the level "Foxtrot Uniform" with the code "map of5a1." Play "The Package" after inputting "map of6a1." Reach the "Conclusion" by entering "map of7a0."
