How to Hide a Weapon in Team Fortress 2

Electronic Arts has made its name developing a variety of video game genres, including the tremendously popular first-person shooter (FPS) format. Of their many popular FPS games, the "Team Fortress" series has maintained its popularity well after it has become technologically outdated. Many "Team Fortress 2" fans enjoy taking screenshots in the game, but the weapons and heads-up display (HUD) can get in the way. However, by making some quick adjustments to the game's settings, you can hide weapons in "Team Fortress 2."

      Open "Team Fortress 2."

      Click on the "Options" menu.

      Click on "Keyboard."

      Click on "Advanced."

      Click the box next to "Enable Developer Console." This allows you access the developer console interface to enter cheat codes.

      Press the "~" or "tilde" button to open the developer console interface. You can usually find the tilde button on the upper-left area of a keyboard.

      Enter "sv_cheats 1" in the command line and press Enter to enable cheats.

      Press the tilde button, enter "r_drawviewmodel 0" in the command line and press Enter to hide the weapon.
